Product Overview
Stratford Ceiling Panels are cost-effective, easy-to-use, and our best-selling style. Made from our Feather-Light Series 0.013 in. thick vinyl plastic, they are unlike any ceiling panels you will ever see or feel. You may be surprised by their minimal weight, but their thermoformed design combined with the inherent strength of vinyl makes these tiles rigid, durable, and easy to install and maintain.
All of our Feather-Light Series panels are Class A fire rated, 100% recyclable, completely waterproof, Greenguard Gold Certified for indoor air quality, and made in the USA. For the look of plaster or tin, with the flexibility, durability, and versatility of vinyl - look no further!

Can these go over existing drop tiles? They seem a bit thin and I’m afraid the basement will be too cold.
Ceilume's Stratford tiles should not be installed with a mineral fiber tile resting on top of them. The "square within a square" pattern projects upward from the face of the grid by 1/2" so any weight placed on the back of the tiles could deflect or warp the design of the tiles. Ceilume sells Soniguard Drop Ceiling Insulation which increases the NRC and R-value of the Stratford tile. You can also place insulation between the floor joists above the ceiling which will increase R-Value, NRC, and prevent sound from transferring from the basement to the space above or vice versa.

Can i install NDR Razor ultra thin recessed lights in the Stratford ceiling tile?
The International Building Code (IBC) requires that all lights, HVAC vents, speakers, fans, etc must be supported by the structure above or the suspended ceiling grid. Ceiling tiles should never be used as the support for a light fixture of any kind.
NDR makes a wide variety of Razor recessed lights and they can be installed in Ceilume ceiling tile with the use of the appropriate light support bracket. Once you've selected a specific model of NDR recessed light, please contact Ceilume at 800-557-0654 and we can provide installation tips for that light type. Is the tile flush with the grid or does it protrude below the grid?
Ceilume's Stratford ceiling tiles sit flush in a 1" or 15/16" suspended ceiling grid. Hi how many come in a case! How many would I need to fit a space of 1300 sq. Are all materials already included.?
Ceilume sells ceiling tiles by the individual tile rather than by the case. That way you can order the exact amount needed for your project. A 1300 sq ft space would need a minimum of 163 2'x4' ceiling panels (you should order a few extra tiles for waste created by the required cuts at the perimeter of your space). Ceilume only sells ceiling tiles and a few ceiling related accessories. You would want to purchase the 1" or 15/16" suspended ceiling grid locally.

I really like the tiles. They look great, easy install and they arrived well-packaged. Once I get used to the light weight, I may come back and change this to five stars. I see no issues.

Great poduct
Product install is incredibly easy and forgiving when cutting to fit. The ability to attain multiple
full size samples to install and decide before commitment is a huge plus.
The main down side at least from me is the border leaves the ridges of the pattern with spaces throughout the walls edge. A bit unsightly and the first thing i notice in each room. The upgrade from traditional tiles is night and day however. Would recommend the product to anyone looking to replace or upgrade.

Easy to install
So glad we found these ceiling panels. I knew we needed to replace our year old drop ceiling panels, but I dreaded cutting all the light holes in the traditional 1/2" panels, the dust etc. These panels were easy to cut with a sissors and while light weight, there was no sagging. The went up fast and look great.

Great product & service
LOVE these tiles and the customer service when I called for a sample. What I do not like is that you cannot order less than 25. I do not want to way over order if I’m not going to need the panels, and there’s no returning extras (at least not easily) but let’s face it, sometimes ones need to be cut, mistakes are made and you end up needing an extra tile or two. It would be nice to know I can just order 1-2 if needed.

We custom cut these to fit existing fluorescent fixtures, these are sized as tiles, not lenses. the result is excellent. This is our second job with Ceilume, Total 6,500 sq. ft. so far. I'm delighted with the product quality, and the customer service. We will be buying more soon for the net phase of this commercial building.
